How often should a local business email its customers?
One or two emails a month is a good start for most local businesses. Texts should be less frequent and saved for timely offers and reminders.
What is 10DLC?
10DLC is the carrier registration required to send business texts from a regular 10-digit number in the U.S. Carriers review your business and message types before texting goes live. We file it for you; registry details are at The Campaign Registry.
What are SPF, DKIM and DMARC?
They’re records on your domain that prove your emails really come from you. Setting them up helps your mail reach inboxes instead of spam, and major inbox providers now expect them.
Do I need Ambition OS?
No. We can send from Ambition OS or the platform you already use, such as Mailchimp. If you don’t have one yet, Ambition OS is one option.
Can you use my Mailchimp account?
Yes. We work inside your existing account so your list, templates and history stay where they are.
Who writes the emails and texts?
We do, based on a short conversation about your offers and news, and you approve every campaign before it’s sent.
Do you buy or rent email lists?
No. We only send to people who gave you permission, such as customers and website signups. Bought lists hurt your sender reputation and break consent rules.
What if my customer list is small?
We start with the contacts already in your records, as long as they opted in, and add signup forms to grow the list over time.
